COR HOMINIS LAETIFICAT

Back to the index
Everything started from Cor Hominis Laetificat. The wines age in Aveyron, in a XII century cellar, at 700 meter high. Cool temepratures, quiet environment, and great appellations produced only during the best years: we want to bring exception and pleasure into your glass.

Vacqueyras

Like the sun out of a bottle, awakening all senses in a whirlwind of emotions ... a wine for special occasions.
Now equal to the greatest, Vacqueyras is producing magnificent wines in the shadow of the Montmirail hills. The soil here is all strength and serenity and this wine oozes robust equanimity.

Grape varieties
Grenache of course, for a true experience of the Rhône terroir.
A robust Syrah and some Mourvèdre for its warmth and generosity. All grapes come from selected low–yield non-stressed vineyards.

Ageing
After malolactic fermentation, the various varieties are blended.
Ageing takes place in a XII century stone cellar at 30km of the town of Roquefort (Aveyron).
New oak is avoided in order to preserve the delicacy of the Grenache variety.

Vinification process
We accomplish long macerations to bring the best out of the grapes, always striving towards harmony.

Tasting
Aspect: intense ruby red
Nose:    powerful notes of blackberry, blackcurrant and garrigue, with a toasted touch.
Lengthy aromas showing no hint of fragility.
Taste:    a voluptuous explosion of sensory experience. Moka and fruits alternate with a
surprising freshness. Structure melts on the palate.
