One of the two best wines I tasted was the 2005
Gigondas which shows elegant mineral notes intermixed
with some white flowers, cranberry, sweet currant, and a
deeper, richer, but still medium-bodied, rather elegant
style. It should drink well for up to a decade.
A new domaine in the eastern sector of Chateauneuf du
Pape near the village of Bedarrides, these are the first
wines I have tasted from this young grower.
